Bring speed, engineering and discovery together with this supersonic car STEM building kit. Designed to spark curiosity, this hands-on set invites children to build, test and explore how real mechanical systems work. As they assemble the model, children will experiment with gears, turbines and a working steering system connected by a drive shaft. Each step reveals how movement is created and controlled, turning playtime into an engaging learning experience. Once built, the car comes to life with synchronised motion, offering a real sense of achievement. The experience does not stop there.
With two models in one, children can rebuild and explore a second design, extending play and encouraging creative thinking. Whether building independently or with parents, this kit supports focus, patience and problem-solving skills in a natural and enjoyable way. With easy-to-follow printed instructions and interactive 3D guidance via the free app, children can build with confidence at their own pace. Part of the Science & Play Mechanics range, this set connects play with real-world engineering principles in a way that feels exciting and accessible. A great choice for parents looking for STEM toys for children and up, and ideal as a gift for 8 year old boys who love building, experimenting and discovering how things work.
